• Engineered structural designs for retail, shipping, display, marketing, educational, etc. purposes to fulfill the specific needs of the customer. The designs are material neutral, meaning the best material for the design would be used. Materials that have been incorporated include: corrugated (F-flute to BC-flute), paperboard, polyurethane, polyethylene, crosslink, EPS, honeycomb, X-board, Falconboard

• ArtiosCAD

  • Design structural files with a focus on material waste reduction, universality of designs (keeping the customer’s SKUs to a minimum), and ease of routing.

  • Utilize Advanced Stylemaker to create parametric / rebuildable designs and standards to reduce design time and optimize efficiency. Developed 30+ parametric design standards that were added to the team’s shared library.

  • Engineer structural designs appropriate for big box stores such as Costco and Sam’s Club. Contact representatives regularly to keep the team’s packaging guidelines up to date.

  • Utilize the Canvas feature to manage complex designs.

  • Develop 3D models of complex designs to assist in concept and assembly.

  • Design detailed illustrated assembly instructions for customer use and fulfillment teams.

  • Develop and produce manufacturing layouts for die makers, Zund CAD table, and HighCon laser cutter processes.

• Run Kongsberg CNC cutting tables to create structural prototypes

• Utilize SolidWorks to design and develop foam assemblies for protective packaging, ensuring optimal product safety and material efficiency. Collaborate with clients to customize designs for various industries, including electronics and medical devices. Produce detailed CAD models and manufacturing specifications to streamline production processes.

• Leverage CAPE Pack to design pallet layouts and perform strength analyses, incorporating company-specific board grades into the database to ensure precise and reliable results.

• Use Adobe Illustrator and Studio to create marketing-ready 3D models of designs and assemblies.

• Collaborate with clients to assess their needs and evaluate existing packaging solutions, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.
